Post reports on the work that is being undertaken by insurers to address the risks of climate change following the 2009 UNFCCC conference in Copenhagen, which was described as 'flawed' and 'chaotic' by former Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
'ClimateWise sets a useful set of of principles for the industry and provides a collaborative platform. These guidelines give practical advice and are more relevant for our day-to-day business than the outcomes from the Copenhagen Accord' (Time Oxley, Corporate Responsibility Manager, Aviva).
