Santam: supporting sustainable repairs - March 2010

Santam has partnered with Eskom to become the first insurance company in South Africa to offer solar powered water heaters as a replacement to traditional electric systems in the event of a claim. In addition to officering energy savings to the client, these systems have a longer typical lifespan. Eskom subsidises the purchase of the solar water heaters through its rebate programme, and in addition to offering energy savings to the client these systems have a longer typical lifespan.
