TrygVesta launch consumer campaign

TrygVesta has launched a Facebook consumer campaign urging users and their friends to take concrete action to reduce CO2 emissions in everyday life.

Introduced by TrygVesta’s CEO and Group Executive Vice President, the campaign introduces 5 measures to reduce personal emissions in everyday life, and informs customers of TrygVesta’s work around climate change.

The campaign is introduced by TrygVesta’s CEO and Group Executive Vice President, who explain why climate change is high on the agenda for the company as a peace of mind provider. They urge the viewer to make an effort to reduce their own emissions: "We all have a stake in the future and together as private citizens we can make a difference."

The campaign introduces 5 measures that private citizens can choose to reduce their own emissions in everyday life. The measures centre on reducing the use of hot water, in house energy efficiency measures and reducing travelling by car. The viewer can then explore the impact of these measures and see estimated CO2 reductions and money saved. Users can also calculate estimates for their Facebook friends, to show the impact of "ganging up" for a greener future.

The campaign also presents what TrygVesta does to make a greener and more climate friendly future, such as:

- In-house measures concerning the use of videoconferences, CO2 reduction targets, employee involvement, sustainable rebuild of company headquarters, reducing paper waste and energy efficiency.

- Products and services such as price friendly insurance for electric cars, environmental screening of corporate customers, incentives for green rebuild after fires and other green incentives directed at our customers.

-  External projects and partnerships, such as ClimateWise, New Life Copenhagen, the Norwegian government's climate partnership - Klimaløftet, a collaboration with a Danish theatre
to voice children's opinions on climate change and involvement with the Geneva Association.

The company aims that this will inform customers and potential customers on how they themselves can contribute to reducing CO2 emissions, and at the same time inform them of TrygVesta's efforts to ensure a greener future.
